FAQ

If something is not covered here, ask us directly — we would rather answer a hard question now than have you find out later.

01

Getting started

What SK does, what it costs, and why students choose us.

We are a locally grown firm that directly represents our partner universities and colleges — which means we communicate with your chosen institution ourselves rather than routing your file through a third party. We also treat every single application as if it were our own. SK has operated in Bhutan since 2014, placing more than 6,500 students overseas, and the Bangladesh branch runs to exactly the same standard.

02

Applications & admission

Entry requirements, intakes, credit transfer and what happens if things go wrong.

Yes — we accept IELTS, TOEFL and PTE. The score each institution requires varies by course and level, and we will tell you exactly what you need to hit during counselling. If your current score falls short, we will tell you that too, and what your options are.

03

Visa & documents

Lodgement, dependants and what we can honestly promise.

No — and neither can anyone else. No consultancy has any authority over visa approval, and you should be extremely careful of any agent who tells you otherwise. What we do is prepare your documentation to a standard that leaves nothing to object to, which is why the parent firm claims one of the highest visa success rates in Bhutan.

04

Money & life abroad

Scholarships, accommodation, travel and landing on your feet.

It depends entirely on the level and nature of the course, the institution and the destination — the range across our eleven destinations is very wide. Rather than quote a misleading average, we will build you a realistic total in counselling covering tuition, living costs, insurance, visa fees and flights, so you know the real number before you decide.
