This site is run by the Dhaka branch of Samden Kuendup (SK) Education Consultancy & Placement Firm, which has operated in Thimphu, Bhutan since 2014. Anything about your data can be sent to apply@skstudybd.com.
What you type into our forms, and a little about how you sent it.
When you enquire, check your eligibility or book counselling: your name, email address and phone number, the destination you are interested in, anything you write in the message box, and, for the eligibility check, your qualification, result, English test score and the answer we gave you.
A full application asks for more, because universities and visa offices need it: date of birth, gender, city and address, NID or birth certificate number, passport number, WhatsApp number, your education history and results, English test scores, your study preferences, whether you are applying with a spouse or dependants, and the documents you upload (certificates, ID, passport, test results, CV, and if relevant an employment letter or marriage certificate).
With every submission we also record the internet (IP) address and browser it came from, to help us stop spam and abuse. Beyond that, the only thing collected from your device is what the analytics section below describes.
To answer your question, tell you honestly whether you are eligible, prepare and lodge applications and visa paperwork you have asked us to handle, contact you about them, and measure whether our Facebook ads are working (see Analytics and advertising below). We never sell your details, and the only companies that receive any of them are the ones named on this page.
Submissions, including the IP address and browser noted above, are saved on our own server and emailed to our counsellors at apply@skstudybd.com. No third-party form service sees them. We keep your details for as long as we are handling your enquiry or application. Email us at any time and we will delete them.
Partner universities, colleges and visa authorities, only when you ask us to apply on your behalf, and only what each of them needs. We may also share your application with our head office in Bhutan so both offices can support you.
Meta (Facebook) receives a scrambled copy of your name, email address and phone number when you submit a form. The next section explains exactly what that means.
Umami. We host our own visitor statistics. It uses no cookies and never stores your IP address. It records which pages are read, what kind of device and browser is used, roughly which country visitors are in, and which buttons are tapped.
Meta Pixel. We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. The Meta Pixel on this site sets cookies (_fbp, _fbc) so Meta can tell us which ads brought people here and can show our ads to people who visited. It also tells Meta when you reach each step of the application form, finish the eligibility check, submit a form, or tap our WhatsApp button.
When you submit a form we also send Meta a scrambled (hashed) version of your name, email address and phone number, along with your IP address and browser type, so it can match the enquiry to the ad you clicked. Meta cannot read the scrambled values directly, but if the same email or phone is on your Facebook or Instagram account, Meta will recognise that it was you. You can limit this for your account in Meta ad settings, and you can block cookies in your browser.
Google Analytics. Not in use today. If we add it, this page will say so.
WhatsApp. Tapping our WhatsApp button is reported to Meta as described above. Once you are inside WhatsApp, the conversation is covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, not this one.
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: apply@skstudybd.com. We answer within a few working days. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser at any time.
If we change this notice we will update the date below. Last updated 6 September 2026.
